Day three at the Republican National Convention gave the American people the first real look at vice-presidential nominee Mike Pence, who was the feature speaker of the “Make America First Again” day from Cleveland, Ohio.

This was the first big public moment since being tabbed by Donald Trump as his running mate for the Indiana governor. Pence spoke about his faith, as well as his family throughout the night. He even joked about how Trump and himself are a good combo due to their differences in tone and demeanor.

Both Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, two of the most formidable challengers to Trump for the party’s nomination, spoke Wednesday, with Cruz himself in the Quicken Loans Arena, and Rubio through a video message. Cruz congratulated Trump on securing the nomination, but was booed at the end for not officially endorsing him.

Trump’s children continue to play a major role not only this week, but overall in the campaign. Eric Trump spoke on behalf of his father, and provided personal commentary that many have been looking for throughout the week.
