UCF quarterback Justin Holman will get a chance to improve on his first year under center when Spring camp opens up on March 18.

Everyone already knew that UCF would open up the 2015 football season against FIU on Sept. 5 but on Thursday the American Athletic Conference released their schedule filling out the remainder of the Knights games.

UCF’s schedule features out of conference games against FIU, Stanford, South Carolina and Furman. The Knights got Furman to fill the final spot non conference spot on the schedule after spending all Fall looking for an opponent. According to 740 The Game’s Marc Daniels — who does play-by-play for the Knights — UCF reached out to over 40 schools before ultimately getting Furman.

The defending co-conference champion Knights will open AAC play on the road against Tulane on Saturday, Oct. 3 and will close out the season against rival USF on Black Friday for the third year in a row. UCF’s schedule does feature some big games for the Knights as they’ll travel to Stanford and South Carolina in September as well as playing at Cincinnati on October 31.

UCF does get two weekday games this season, with East Carolina coming to Orlando on November 19 and USF in town to close out the regular season on November 27.

Divisions will make a debut in the AAC this season as the addition of Navy brings the number of teams in the conference to an even 12. UCF will be in the East Division along with USF, Cincinnati, UConn, Temple and East Carolina. The West Division contains Houston, Memphis, Navy, SMU, Tulsa and Tulane.

The American Athletic Conference will for the first time feature a championship game which will take place on Saturday, December 5 and will be televised on either ABC or ESPN.

UCF opens up Spring practice on March 18 and will have their annual Spring Game on April 18 at Bright House Networks Stadium.
