It’s being touted as the “Biggest home opener in college hoops” as 7-foot-6 Tacko Fall and the UCF Knights take on UC Irvine and fellow 7-footer Mamadou Ndiaye tonight at 7 p.m. at the CFE Arena.
The Knights opened up the season with a loss to Davidson on Saturday and will go into the home opener looking for their first win of the 2015-16 season.
Adonys Henriquez led UCF in scoring against Davidson with 18 points and had seven rebounds and five assists for the game.
UCF will be without point guard B.J. Taylor for at least a few more games and head coach Donnie Jones says A.J. Davis will get the start at the point for the Knights on Wednesday against UCI.
Fall played 14 minutes and score four points in UCF’s season opener over the weekend and added three rebounds and two blocks during his time on the court.
Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. from CFE Arena on Wednesday with the game being shown on ESPN3.
