Arron Afflalo scored 36-points, while helping lead the Magic to a 94-91 win over the Bucks.

Arron Afflalo single handedly lead the Orlando Magic to a 94-91 victory against the Milwaukee Bucks in nail-bitter.

“No matter what it was, he did a great job of getting open.”  said Jameer Nelson about Afflalo.

Afflalo scored a career-high 36 points, shooting 11-15 from the field and was eminently destructive from the three point line knocking down 8.

“It was fortunate that my three ball was going down tonight.” said Afflalo after the game

Milwaukee was faced with the struggle of playing a game with a total of eight players, never shying down from the challenge they put forth an admirable effort.

Strategically with only the option of eight players in your arsenal, the Bucks had to come out heated to make a quick demolishment of the Magic early.

“Its unbelievable. The NBA is tough. This team (Milwaukee Bucks) comes in here and it’s easy for you to overlook them.” said Magic head coach Jacque Vaughn.

The Bucks pushed the tempo during the first half and had a congested half court defense which caused the magics to miss open shoots.

Fatigue started to kick in for Milwaukee late in the third quarter, but it wasn’t enough to withstand the perseverance of the Magic.

There were moments in the game where things look bleak for the Magic, Afflalo arose as the hero he is, and lead his cavalry to victory.

“There are going to be frustrating moments in the course of a game,” Vaughn said in the post game interview. “But being able to lift your teammates up and have composure;I think that was the greatest part of tonight for me”

With 36 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assist Afflalo confidence was the start of a chain reaction that flowed throughout the whole team.

When he was needed, he was there.

O.J. Mayo had a formidable game, establishing his closing ability in the fourth quarter but it wasn’t enough to pull away with the victory.

All focus and concentration must be set for their next game against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Amway Center.
