Florida talent to be on display during Cotto-Rodriguez undercard

Miguel Cotto (37-4, 30 KOs) and Delvin Rodriguez (28-6-3, 16 KOs) have made weight and are ready to go toe-to-toe, but this 12-round Super Welterweight bout isn’t the only fight on the card Saturday night at the Amway Center.

Multiple Florida-based boxers will be fighting on the undercard of Saturday’s fight including Orlando-native Moises Carrasquillo, Jr. (3-0, 3 KOs), who goes up against Steven Chadwick (2-4, 1 KO) out of Jacksonville, Fla.

Another local guy fighting in the undercard is Lamar Charlton (1-4-1, 1 KO) out of Ocala, Fla. Charlton will be facing Central Florida-based fighter  Ricky Tomlinson (1-0, 1 KO) in the first fight of the night.

Clarence Booth (6-1, 4 KOs), out of St. Petersburg, Fla., is also fight on Saturday night in a Welterweight bout against Xavier Burgos (7-2, 2 KOs).

The co-main event on Saturday night is a bout between undefeated fighters Terence Crawford (21-0, 16 KOs) and Andrey Klimov (16-0, 8 KOs) for the North American Boxing Association (NABO) Lightweight Title.

Tickets for the fight are still available and can be purchased at the Amway Center box office.

Doors at the Amway Center open at 6:00 p.m. with the first fight between Charlton and Thomson starting at 6:30 p.m. The undercard fight will be streamed live on Top Rank Boxing’s official website.

Cotto vs. Rodriguez will air live on HBO starting at 9:45 p.m., with the main event  starting approximately at 11:00 p.m.
