Orlando Solar Bears re-sign forward Mathew Sisca

Matthew Sicsa returns to the Solar Bears after leading the team in assists (33) and points (48) last season.

Mathew Sisca will be returning to the Orlando Solar Bears this season. The Solar Bears announced on Thursday that they had agreed to terms with Sisca who led the team in scoring during the 2012-2013 season with 48 points.

He also known for scoring the first goal of the Solar Bears “Out of Hibernation” season at the Amway Center last year, while playing in an ECHL career-high 59 games.

The 22-year old forward out of Woodbridge, ON also had a team-high 33 assists.

With the addition of Sisca the Solar Bears now have 26 players on their roster including goalie Peter Delmas, who was assigned to Orlando by the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League (AHL).

The team also recently agreed to terms with Orlando native Myles Harvey. He recently played four seasons for Providence College and served as the alternate captain his junior and senior year.

Harvey played his junior hockey in Central Florida as a member of the Jr. Lightning and Tampa Bay Raiders.

The Solar Bears start training camp later this month, look for more players to be added to the roster as the beginning of the regular season draws near.
