ORLANDO – Chris Taladay hit the go ahead two out two run double in the top of the ninth inning to top the Jacksonville University Dolphins 6-4 to close out the three game series at John Sessions Stadium on Sunday, March 10.
The victory hands the UCF Knights another series win this season which gives them their third series victory out of three series played.
Chris Matulis pitched six innings in his season starting debut as relief pitcher Zac Favre pitched three innings to secure the victory for UCF.
The Knights return home for a pair of midweek games against Florida A&M on Tuesday and Wednesday followed by a four-game series with Columbia that begins on Friday.
