ORLANDO – The Orlando Solar Bears defeated the Gwinnett Gladiators 4-3 on a game winning goal by Matthew Sisca on Friday, Jan. 25 at the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia.
Solar Bears Matthew Sisca had two goals and two assists to finish with four points overall, and goaltender John Curry had 35 saves and allowed three goals in the victory. As Gwinnett’s goaltender Louis Domingue had 20 saves but allowed four goals including the game winner which gave Gwinnett (26-17-1-1) the loss.
The Solar Bears (19-20-2-2) commenced their three game road trip with the win over Gwinnett and will face South Carolina for their next two away games. They will return home on Jan. 30 to face Greenville at 7 p.m.
