In the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak in Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis is issuing an executive order today for the state of Florida to stay home for 30 days.

There are nearly 7,000 cases in the state of Florida with the death toll exceeding 80 people, according to the Florida Department of Health.

The executive order starts at midnight Thursday. Activities such as going to the store for food and other important needs will still be allowed.

This is a developing story.
