If you’re a filmmaker looking for a big break, now might be your chance.

The submission deadlines for the 29th annual Florida Film Festival, which is set to take place at Orlando’s Enzian Theater in April 2020, were announced in August.

The early entry deadline is Oct 11, 2019. With the regular entry deadline on Nov 15, then followed by the late entry deadline on Nov 29 . For procrastinators, the extended late entry deadline is on Dec 13.

The FFF features competitions for narrative and animated short films, documentary shorts and features, narrative feature films, and international films. It’s also an Academy Award-qualifying festival – the winner of the Grand Jury Award for best live-action short, the best animated short, and the best documentary short film will qualify to be considered for the year’s Oscar Awards. The winners are chosen by a jury of film professions and an audience vote.
