PREVIEW: UCF Knights prepare to close out conference play with FIU
McKenzie Milton played well enough in his collegiate debut against Maryland to earn a second consecutive start when the UCF Knights (1-2) travel to Miami this weekend to take on FIU (0-3).
Milton threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns, adding another on the ground, but the freshman fumbled the ball twice and threw one interception in his first game under center. UCF coach Scott Frost hopes to see Milton limit those mistakes as he gets more comfortable as the signal caller.
The Knights suffered a 15-14 loss to FIU last season, and some veteran players are hoping to avenge that loss on Saturday when they travel to Miami.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. with the game being televised on Bein sports.
