McCray twins, former UCF linemen sign with Orlando Predators
It’s a homecoming of sorts for Jordan and Justin McCray as the two brothers will return to the city they played their college football after the Orlando Predators announced they signed the identical twins on Tuesday.
Jordan and Justin last played together in the 2014 Fiesta Bowl where UCF upset Baylor to claim the program’s first-ever BCS bowl victory.
The signing of the McCray brothers marks the second and third offensive lineman signed to the Predators from UCF over the past two weeks, Torian Wilson signed with the Predators before getting an opportunity with the New England Patriots last week.
“Jordan and Justin are powerful linemen who bring leadership qualities to the team having been captains at UCF,” said Predators head coach Rob Keefe. “Individually, they are motivated players who strive to get better and play at an elite level. Together, they compete and push each other to be the best they can be. That dynamic will undoubtedly lead to success.”
The twins played in a combined 89 games for UCF and started 60 games for the Black and Gold. Both were voted First-Team All Conference during their senior year.
Both have NFL experience from being a part of multiple practice squads in 2014 and 2015.
The Predators are coming off a division winning season and will be celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2016 with the season beginning in the Spring.
