UCF Women’s Soccer gets rematch against Georgia in first round of NCAA Tournament
The UCF Women’s Soccer team will have a chance to avenge an early season 1-0 loss to Georgia when they host the Bulldogs in the opening round of the NCAA Women’s College Cup on Saturday at 7 p.m.
UCF (16-4-0) lost four games all season, with two of them coming to conference foe UConn and the other two coming early in the year against Texas A&M and Georgia.
This marks the eighth year in a row that the Knights have made it to the NCAA tournament, with the current senior class going as far as the quarterfinals in 2011.
Kickoff for Saturday’s game is set for 7 p.m. at the UCF Track & Soccer Complex. The winner of the game will move on to face the winner of Wisconsin vs. DePaul in the second round.
