Magic get 4th and 12th pick in 2014 NBA Draft
May 20, 2014
The Orlando Magic received the No. 4 and No. 12 picks during the NBA Draft Lottery on Tuesday, allowing management to now shift their focus to next month’s draft.
Orlando had a 15.6 percent chance of getting the No. 1 overall pick after finishing with the third worst record in the NBA last year at 23-59.
Guard Victor Oladipo was drafted with the Magic’s first round draft pick last year, which turned out to be No. 2 overall, despite the Magic having the league’s worst record that season.
The Cleveland Cavaliers took home the top pick this year, only furthering speculation that LeBron James could potentially return to Cleveland if he chooses to opt out of his Miami Heat contract early.
The NBA Draft will be on Thursday, June 26 and can be watched on ESPN or the WatchESPN app.
