Predators late rally falls short, drop first game of season

The Orlando Predators fell short of remaining undefeated, as they lost to the New Orleans Voodoo 62-55 in the final minutes of the game on Thursday, April 3 in New Orleans.
Predators quarterback Jason Boltus gave a good effort going 27-42 passing for 375 yards and eight touchdowns. He also unfortunately, threw two interceptions, one that would cost the Predators the game in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.
Despite the loss on Thursday, Orlando still holds first place in their conference by half a game over the rival Tampa Bay Storm.
The Predators will be return home now for a Week 4 matchup against the Philadelphia Soul on Thursday, April 10. Kickoff will be at 7:30p.m. at the CFE Arena on the UCF campus
Philadelphia is where Orlando head coach Rob Keefe won his first AFL championship, as a defensive back for the Soul.
