Odd Future’s own Tyler, the Creator, Hodgy Beats coming to Orlando
Fresh off his South by Southwest showcase, Odd Future frontman Tyler, the Creator is making a brief stop in Orlando, and heading out on a US tour.
Tyler will be performing multiple headlining shows in each month, up until June, and even make stops at a few music festivals.
Accompanied by his fellow Odd Future (OF) member Hodgy Beats, the clan makes their way to The Plaza Live, Monday, March 17, at 8 p.m.
Tyler, 23, has released two solo studio-albums to date, with his latest being “Wolf.”
The album is produced almost entirely by Tyler, and debuted at No.3 on the Billboard 200.
The album takes a different approach from his previous project “Goblin,” which contain more graphic content.
He has helped push the independent movement wave, using the success he obtained from his music career to branch off into clothing, commercials and his own television show — “Loiter Squad,” on Cartoon Network, which he stars in and produces.
Tickets to see the Odd Future collective are currently sold out through the venue. The show starts at 8 p.m., with the doors opening at 7 p.m.
Hodgy Beats makes up one-half of Odd Future group Mellowhype, and has released three studio albums with the project. He has also released four solo mixtapes to date, and it is rumored that he is scheduled to release an album this year.
