Trey Anastasio is an American guitarist, vocalist and composer. He is noted to be the founder of the rock band Phish, that was formed in 1983, and for “Evenings with Trey Anastasio” that is performed with the New York Philharmonic. He is also nominated for a Tony award for his contribution to the Broadway musical “Hands On A Hardbody.”
His music genres ranges from classical — alternative rock — to funk. Anastasio’s musicality is said to be very conventional, with his electric guitar playing, he does not really make any use of the tapping technique and also he doesn’t make it a habit to play a slide guitar.
