Kanye West performs at Lollapalooza at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, on Sunday, August 3, 2008.

Kanye West has embarked on his first headlining tour in five-years to support his six-studio album “Yeezus.”

Despite previously announced cancellations — due to an intricate part of his stage being damaged after a truck carrying the screen crashed — West’s “Yeezus Tour” makes its way to the Tampa Bay Times Forum on Nov. 30.

“Yezzus” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 327,000 copies in its first week of release, attaining gold certification in less than two months of the release.

The album had futile mainstream marketing programs and lacked many traditional promotional techniques. Instead it was promoted by what West and colleague Jay Z considered new rules.

The album’s first single, “New Slaves”, was premiered live on 66 different buildings throughout the world at the same time. On the following day West appeared on NBC’s skit-comedy show “Saturday Night Live” where he premiered another song, “Black Skinhead.”

West will be joined by fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar.

Lamar recently shook up the hip-hop community, when his verse to Big Sean’s “Control” was released. On the record he rapped “I’m Makaveli’s offspring, I’m the king of New York/ King of the Coast, one hand, I juggle them both,” and stated that he wanted other popular artist such as J.Cole, Drake, Mac Miller, A$AP Rocky and others core fans not to remember any of their lyrics.

The Compton-based rapper is signed to a joint venture deal between Top Dawg Entertainment and Aftermath/ Interscope Records. His major label debut “good kid, m.A.A.d city” was released in November of 2012 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

“good kid, m.A.A.d city” was described as “one of the most cohesive bodies of work in recent rap memory” by a reporter for hip-hop magazine XXL. In October 2013, Complex magazine named it the second best hip hop album of the last five years, and is currently nominated for  Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album at the American Music Awards.

Tickets are still available via Ticketmaster and range $52.20-140.05. Show starts at 8 p.m.
