Hoodie Allen is set to release his first-studio album early 2014.

Hoodie Allen came, he saw, he conquered.

In only his second show ever in Orlando, indie hip-hop artist Hoodie Allen managed to do something that I have never seen before, and that is bring a crowd so large that the line went around the back of the House of Blues.

Hoodie was in Orlando on Saturday night, along with Mod Sun and OCD: Mooch & Twist as part of the “Party With Your Friends Tour”, for one of the most energetic shows of the year.

From start to finish the crowd was into the show, first with OCD: Moosh & Twist and then with Mod Sun, but the man of the hour on Saturday was Hoodie Allen himself.

Performing with his live band, Hoodie came out and started his set with one of his first hits in “You Are Not A Robot” and then took it old school with “Look At What We Started” from his “Pep Rally” mixtape.

His set would vary from classics off of “Pep Rally” and “Leap Year”, to new songs off of his latest EP, “Americustic”, all of which the fans were singing along to.

The over hour long set featured nearly every popular Hoodie Allen song someone could think of, including “Fame Is For Assholes (FIFA)”, “Long Night” and “Casanova”.

Hoodie Allen enlisted the help of his tour-mates multiple times during the show, including bringing Moosh and Twist on stage during “Two Lips” and when Mod Sun helped Hoodie toss cakes into the crowd during “Cake Boy.”

During his set Hoodie announced that he will be releasing his first-ever studio album in 2014 and then played a track off of the album, titled “Make It Home.”

On multiple occasions Hoodie thanked his fans for having supported him for so long and making the Orlando show the best one on tour so far.

All night long the crowd sang-along to Hoodie’s songs regardless of if they were new or old, sometimes even leaving the 25-year old artist speechless.

Hoodie also made a guest appearance during OCD: Moosh & Twist’s set, going on stage to perform his verse from the new song they did together, called “All That I Know”.

The following that Hoodie brought with him was so large that the entire floor of the venue was full before the first act even took the stage.

Those fans who got in line early and waited for doors to open weren’t disappointed, as Hoodie would announce via Twitter before the show that the first 100 people to buy a shirt would get invited to a special meet & greet.

Mod Sun set up the crowd for Hoodie Allen with his “hippy-hop” tunes and feel good lyrics. The crowd appeared to get hyped up when Mod Sun played songs like “Stoner Girl”, “My Hippy” and “Pass It My Way”.
