“We Came As Romans push their boundaries of what modern alternative music should be, while staying authentic to their roots,” said album producer John Feldmann. “One of the few new bands to keep true to their vision while developing as artists.”

“Tracing Back Roots,” the band’s third full-length album, was released on July 23 and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums Chart and No.2 on the Top Rock Chart. Other accolades for the new album include attaining the top spot on the Independent Album’s Chart, and Internet Album Chart.

The six piece Detroit-based band formed in 2005 and signed to Equal Vision Records in April of 2009, with their debut album “To Plant a Seed” releasing later that year. The group’s second album, “Understanding What We’ve Grown to Be,” followed two years later.

Over the years, We Came As Romans has become well-known for their impressive commitment to touring in addition to their unique sound and positive message.

Kerrang! Magazine concluded that “Tracing Back Roots” would ensure We Came As Romans continual rise to the top.
