ORLANDO – The University of Central Florida Knights saw its 10-game winning streak dating back to 2006 over Bethune-Cookman come to a close Wednesday night, Feb. 27 at Jackie Robinson Ballpark as the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats came through with the 6-0 victory.
The Knights (4-4) totaled just four hits to the Wildcats’ (3-6) 14 hits as offense was absent in UCF’s first game with no runs. UCF will return home for a weekend set with Winthrop beginning Friday night, March 1 at 6:30 p.m. It will be the first meeting between the two schools in program history.
