ORLANDO – As the NBA trade deadline approached the Orlando Magic negotiated their veteran star J.J. Redick around the league to land a trade.
J.J. Redick, reserve point guard Ish Smith, and center Gustavo Ayon has been traded to the Milwaukee Bucks for Tobias Harris, Doron Lamb, and veteran point Beno Udrih. The move behind the trade was designed to secure more future salary cap flexibility and prevent losing a major asset.
The Magic would also go along to make another trade as forward Josh McRoberts was traded to the Charlotte Bobcats for forward Hakeem Warrick.
