ORLANDO – The University of Central Florida Knights defeated the University of Houston Cougars 79-75 in overtime to snatch their second conference win of the season behind Isaiah Sykes game high 22 points.
The Knights dominated in overtime scoring seven points compared to Houston’s three as UCF made a comeback, forced the game past the end of regulation, and came out with a road win.
Keith Clanton had 19 points, eight rebounds, and four blocks in a career high 43 minutes played.
UCF will return home to Orlando for their next game to open a two-game homestand against Rice on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m.
