ORLANDO – The Orlando Magic regained their star power forward Glen Davis on Monday night, as they suffered a loss to the Washington Wizards, scoring 13 points in 18 minutes played.
Davis was injured with a dislocated shoulder and was out for three-plus weeks missing 11 games. Before Davis’s injury, the Magic were within one game of stabilizing the team record at .500, and since he’s been gone the Magic suffered their longest losing streak of the season of ten games but have recently snapped it with a victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
With Davis back, Orlando plans to regain the momentum that was lost during the past month as head coach Jacque Vaughn hopes to use Davis as much as he can to regain the Magic’s ranking in the top ten defense in the league.
