Welcome back students! Our first week is over and here is what Valencia Voice is up to this Fall semester. Valencia Voice is a school wide, multi-campus initiative and offers options for all reporters.

Story Call continues each week, Tuesdays at 1 p.m. in EC Bldg 1 Rm 377 and Zoom. Reporters use Slack for communicating story ideas, videos and messaging.

Valencia Voice will continue a multimedia platform approach this term with the following technologies.

ValenciaVoice.com – main written format for all Valencia College student journalists, aspirants and graphic designers.

Valencia Voice TV – Special interest, student and club profiles, Department and school news, features

Valencia Voice College News Radio – SAE Radio Room with the Valencia College Radio spaces. A podcast format each week shares college news and information. Hosts create an organic space to share their ideas and highlight events around campus, as well as topics locally and nationwide.

Valencia Voice is student news media and aims to focus on strong writing, research methods, building portfolios, collaboration and social media growth, as well as encouraging creativity and design. Anchors report on ValenciaVoice articles, topics of interest, events and student resources.
