This year’s March Madness is almost at a close and it’s down to the Final Four with two teams representing Florida. The University of Miami and Florida Atlantic University have made it for the first time. If both teams win their next respective games, the National Championship game would be set with two Florida teams.

Florida Atlantic’s season has been magical. The Owls stand at a solid 35-3 this season, led by their best players including Johnell Davis, Nicholas Boyd, and Vladislav Goldin. Coach Dusty May and the Owls appear to have been the underdogs for most of the tournament. In an interview with USA Today, Coach May said he’ll sign a contract extension to stay at FAU for the next few seasons.

Their next opponent San Diego State proves to be a tough task. They will face off against the dangerous Aztecs on Saturday, April 1 at 6:09 PM for a trip to the National Championship. The game will take place at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

On the other hand, the Miami Hurricanes have stunned two favorites to win it all; in Houston and Texas. The team has fought hard to get to the top, and now they’re only two games away from a National Title. Standing at 29-7, Miami played an equally great season. Longtime coach of the team, Jim Larranaga, is rumored to be the reason the Hurricanes have a chance Saturday against UConn. Led by guards Nijel Pack and Isaiah Wong, Miami has had a strong showing this March Madness. Can they keep it going against the Huskies? These teams face off Saturday at 8:49 PM.

With just four teams remaining, who’s your pick to win it all?
