The UConn Huskies take on the top-seeded Temple Owls in the American Athletic Conference semifinal, with the winner clinching a spot in the championship game on Sunday.

Temple are coming off a comfortable win over USF on Friday and have some of their players well rested compared to UConn who played in a four overtime marathon against Cincinnati in the quarterfinals.

11:49 – Temple cuts UConn’s lead to single digits as the Huskies now lead 53-44 midway through the second half.

14:13 – UConn goes on a 6-0 run to extend their lead to 52-39. The Huskies are shooting 57 percent from the floor so far.

15:48 – Temple has narrowed UConn’s lead to 47-39 early in the second half. The Owls are 4-4 from the floor early on.

19:48 – Temple opens the second half with a basket and we are underway for the final 20 minutes of the first semifinal of the evening.

0:00 – UConn uses a 32-16 run during the final 13 minutes of play to take a 39-28 lead over Temple into halftime.

4:43 – UConn has gone on a 24-7 run over the last eight minutes of play. The Huskies now lead Temple 31-19.
