The Weeknd bringing ‘Madness’ to Amalie Arena in Tampa

Grammy Award-winning singer The Weeknd will bring his The Madness Fall Tour to the Amalie Arena in Tampa on Dec. 17.

The Weeknd, born Abel Testfaye, has transitioned into a breakout mainstream star this year with the release of his sophomore album “Beauty Behind the Madness,” which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 and remained atop the chart for the next two weeks, making him the first artist to do so since Taylor Swift’s “1989” release. To date, the album has produced several chart-toping singles, including “Can’t Feel My Face” and “The Hills.”

Tickets are selling fast, and may be purchased online ranging up to $491.75, via Ticketmaster.com.

The 22-city tour will make one other Florida stop, Dec. 19 at AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, the final date of the tour.
