Orlando City SC unviels inaugural MLS away kit, pays homage to supporter group
Orlando City SC debuted their inaugural MLS away kit Tuesday night, March 3, in part of MLS Jersey Week.
Fans in attendance at Orlando City Foundation’s annual Soccer and the City event got the first glimpse of the white and purple jerseys as Orlando City players Kaká, Aurélien Collin, Brek Shea, Bryan Róchez and Cyle Larin modeled them.
“The white and purple kits look fantastic, and we hope our fans are as excited as we are to wear them around the city,” said Orlando City Founder and President Phil Rawlins.
While the Lions’ home jersey pay homage to the Iron Lion Firm, one of Orlando’s recognized supporter clubs, with the words “This is Orlando” sublimated along the neckline, the team’s away kit will honor the teams other official supporter club, The Ruckus, with the words “Forever our City” along the neckline.
The new kits are available for purchase by visiting www.OrlandoCitySC.com/Fans/Gear.
Similar to City’s purple kit, the new away outfit obtains the following features:
