Pusha T brings his gritty aggressive style to the Sunshine State, as he is set to play four stops in the Florida area.
Pusha T, whose real name is Terrance Thorton, reigns from Virginia and is signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label and Def Jam Recording. He released his first solo-album, “My Name Is My Name”under the imprints in October, and it debuted at No. 54 on the US Billboard 200, selling 74,000 copies in its first week of release.
Pusha T is one-half of former rap group Clipse, alongside his brother Gene “No Malice” Thornton (formerly known as Malice). The Clipse released three studio albums, including their 2002 project “Lord Willin,” which featured popular single “Grindin.”
He signed to West’s imprint in 2010 and released his first full solo project, “Fear of God II: Let Us Pray” in 2011. He then followed up with the “Wrath of Caine” mixtape, and made guest appearances on the G.O.O.D Music compilation album “Cruel Summer,” as well as multiple artist projects before releasing his debut studio album “My Name Is My Name.”
