Ab-Soul, Joey Badass, Chevy Woods unite for ‘Smoker’s Club Tour 2013’

From sharing XXL magazine’s annual Freshman Class cover, to sharing the same stage, Ab-Soul and Joey Bada$$ are set to light up Orlando in part of this year’s “Smokers Club Tour.”
Ab-Soul is currently signed to a joint venture between Top Dawg Entertainement and Interscope/Aftermath records. He is one-fourths of hip-hop supergroup Black Hippy, which contains up-and-coming artist Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q.
He has released two independent albums under the Top Dawg imprint, with the most latest being “Control System,” which released in 2012.
The album received generally positive reviews and was named the 20th best album of 2012 by Complex Magazine. He recently stated on his Twitter account that he has finished recording his major label debut, which remains untitled at the time, he is just waiting for it to be finished mixing.
Joey Bada$$ is an 18-year-old rapper out of Brooklyn, N.Y., raised in the Flatbush section to be exact. He is a member of the hip-hop collective Progressive Era, or Pro Era for short.
Joey released his debut mixtape “1999” in June of 2012 and followed up with “Rejex” and “Summer Knights” earlier this year.
He is set to release his first commercial project “B4.Da.$$” early next year.
The “Smokers Club Tour” makes it’s was to The Beacham on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available via Ticketfly, ranging from $25-$30.

Chevy is signed to Taylor Gang Records, the same label as rapper Wiz Khalifa. He is most known for his feature on the group’s anthem “Taylor Gang.”
On Oct. 24 he released a new mixtape entitled “Gangland 2” which featured guest appearances by label mates Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J.
The Underachievers are a hip-hop duo consisting of rappers AK and Issa Gold, also out of Brooklyn N.Y.
The duo is signed to American producer Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder record label, and released two mixtapes — “Indigoism” and “Lords of Flatbush” — in 2013.
