Hawaiian reggae band, The Green, will be in Orlando for two nights starting with an all ages show on Halloween night.

Downtown Orlando you now have something to do on Halloween night.

Reggae band The Green is coming to town during their “Hawai’i 13 Tour” with two shows at the The Social, with the first show being on Thursday, Oct. 31 and the second on Friday, Nov. 1.

The Green are coming to Orlando fresh off the release of their third studio album, “Hawai’i 13”, which debuted No. 1 on the The Billboard Reggae charts back in August.

“Hawai’i 13” features 11 tracks, including some easy listening tunes like “Good Vibe Killah” and “Hold Me Tight”.

All of the bands songs hit traditional reggae roots but also mix in new and original methods that keep their music fresh.

The band comes out of Oahu, Hawaii, and are a 6-piece featuring a keyboard and all your usual reggae instruments. Their first two albums, “The Green” and “ Ways & Means” have sold over 50,000 copies worldwide and have won awards, including the iTunes Best Reggae Album 2010.

The Green have toured in the past with acts the likes of  Damian Marley and have even been featured on the “House of Marley” stage at Vans Warped Tour back in 2012.

Hawaiian singer Kimie will be opening up for The Green during their stop in Orlando, The Green fans might remember her from featuring on the band’s self-titled album on the song “How Does It Work”

The Green’s stop at The Social should definitely be a worthy Halloween day activity to mix into your plans.

Orlando should feel privileged, as they are one of only three cities, along with Honolulu and San Francisco,  that will get back-to-back show on the “Hawai’i 13 Tour”.

Tickets for both shows are $17 in advance and $20 at the door the day of the show.

The Halloween day show is all ages, with doors at The Social opening at 7 p.m. Friday’s show will be 18+, if you’re looking for a more adult setting, and doors open at 8 p.m.
