ORLANDO – Although playing the last games of the season is nothing close to important for the Orlando Magic, they still are out to prove their youngest players are the future as Tobias Harris (30 points, 19 rebounds) lead the Magic over the Milwaukee Bucks 113-103 in overtime Wednesday night, April 10 at the Amway Center.
Nikola Vucevic had a career-high 30 points and 20 rebounds and combined totaled nine points with Harris in the extra period to assist Orlando to snap a five-game losing streak after being down in the final minute of the fourth quarter by five points.
Monta Ellis lead all Milwaukee scorers with 21 points as Mike Dunleavy and John Henson each added 17 points. This marked J.J. Redick’s first return to Orlando after being traded earlier this season at the trade deadline to the Bucks. Redick would score 16 points and shoot 6-16 from the field.
The Magic earned their 20th victory of the season as the Bucks fell to 37-41, still remaining the eighth seed for the Eastern Conference in the playoffs.
Orlando will play their third to last game of the season on Saturday, April 13 against the Boston Celtics at the Amway Center.
